Is this a good crossbow?
Я напильник могу заточить - бумагу будет резать не хуже😂😂😂
I own a real Japanese T10 spring steel with a real hamon and clay hardened. Cost more than that but there are many demonstrations on how T10 spring steel outperforms high carbon 1060 and around that blades.
Where the link for that katana?
1095 has tungsten in it
Doesnt mention the manufacturer!
Where did you purchase it from?
Why didn't you link the Katana?
Sharpness tests are not good until they are tested after use. Most cheap swords will dull after a couple of cuts and then sharpening them again will take you forever.
Same thing I can’t string it the manual is useless
I have it its crazy powerful 😅
katana where developed for hundreds of years an di promises you traditional steal is much much better for a sword. its not suppose dto be hard its actully supposed iot be quite flexable aside from the edge so its going to hurt to use and its going to break itself over time
You can find Sharp swords for 50 bucks 😅 . The question should be: Is it full tang, and still a sword after you use it once 😂 and also save to even cut something with .
since this is like and ad why not just take it down. it gets ppl pumped up only to be let down lol
And the string part is non existent xd
Did u ever find how to string it, I'm stuck, the instructions supplied in the box were useless. Hope u can help me.
@@stuartlepoidevin6812 I will do a stringing video. There are several ways to string it.
@Svet69 I tried stringing it, (followed a video tutorial), I just didn't have the strength to pull it.
@@Svet69 thank you
Another very helpful video, much appreciated my friend 👌
Glad that you have found my video helpful.
I really appreciate this video my friend, it is very helpful
Thank you for the video. I get the impression that this is a really good entry-level crossbow that will see you right for a long time. Its basic, its cheap, it has no frills, but its powerful, reasonably accurate and will be more accurate than the user until they develop their skills. Thanks for taking the time to talk about it mate.
Thank you too for taking your time and leaving a comment, sir. Appreciated!
@osan2023ban that sounds quite frightening actually
Isnt it fiber glass?
You might be interested in the video made by Ibelle Towers on the same knife. Tortured tested it on a coconut. It's a Philippine video that convinced me to buy. Been fidgeting with it for sometime now, but until know no wobbles whatsoever compared to my other higher end knives. Biases and politics aside, I believe it's a good knife with a great price.
Glad you like this little knife. Rock on!
@@Svet69 Maybe you ought to start reviewing knives like this one, just to give them a fair break and help people like me who are on a budget get a better alternative. Thank you and more power,
@@paolodimaano6585 I have several other knives of this kind. Will try to review them when I get some spare time. Thanks for commenting!
For this price it's cool. The stronger the steel in the sword the better, because you can put your life and rely on it on the worst situation possible. I'm all for practical purposes of this stuff.
You can’t rely on it to stop a bullet
Not every country has people with guns running around like America
You can have strong steel with a full edge and that sword wont save your life. Its all in its ability to hold an edge. If it cant hold a sharp edge its of no practical use.
How has this bow been holding up for you, do you still use it or did it break soon after this video?
I learned a lot... Thanks
Hate to break it to you, but that hamon isnt real. When a katana blader whether T10, 1095, 1080, 9250 or 1060 steel. As it undergoes differential hardening from either clay tempering or quenching. The hamon line created has a cloudy hue surrounding the nearby line of the actual hamon. when clay tempering, the hamon actually has a different colour all the way to the tip of the blade. In the case of your katana the hamon has a small amount of cloudiness on the hamon line. But it is most likely a printed hamon, not an authentic hamon from differential hardening processes.
Is there any chance you can post an updated link for the sword??? please please please
The wrap is facing outside.
Ronin Katana have several good options for $129 and they're a lot better than what you get for 200 from a few other brands.
Yep, the Dojo Pro is recommended from the guys at Sword Buyers Guide at being the best battle ready katana you'll get for that price!
It's no longer available at that link. Is there another place/way to buy it?
I went to aliexpress, Type Katana, and a whole bunch of kids' katana swords pop up! Think I'm limited on search 🤔
You should buy a higher quality sword
HANBON FORGE
Look a katana doesn’t need to be clay hardened, a spring steel blade is going to be much tougher and so is a T10 blade .
The sword in the video above is made out of T10 steel and is clay hardened on top of that. Spring steel is super tough for sure, but it cannot show a real hamon due to the alloying elements in it, which make it deep hardening. If you don't care about having a traditional-looking hamon, then a spring steel blade is a very good choice.
I just got a very similar sword from romance of men, it has t10 steel and a very similar looking blade. These swords are actually pretty good for the price point
Repent or perish in Hell all eternity
Wtf does this have to do with a sword review?
What's the brand os the katana?
Great price. And it's quiet too.
Great info
I just ordered one of these, I intend to try to learn to use a thumb draw. I ordered a brass thumb ring and will also try making my own from leather to see what feels better. I am going to shoot feather fletched carbon arrows and use it mainly for relaxation.
Could you give me the link where you got the cheap sword in the video. :)
It's been discontinued. But if you are still interested in something that is safe functional and inexpensive you can search, HanBon Forge.
congrats you just removed the bowie knife attachment to your bow
The pointy tips above the string knock that you said looks like a Bowie knife is actually a very traditional look and finish on those Mongolian horse bows. And after all the Mongolians are Chinese. But I do see what you mean and they could get hung up on something while menauvering through brush when hunting in the Forrest. So I’d probably sand them down a bit and make it not quite as an extreme point to it, round it off just to be safe. That’s a cool find. For $40 now I wanna go get online and order one before I even eat breakfast hahaha!!!
Sorry Grasshopper ! You are so young, that you have forgotten what war, is about ! Once Archers, have run out of arrows, they continue fighting, using the bow point, as a spear ! Blunting it, shows you have no idea of history ! See the forgotten videos from Lars Anderson, he has studied the old archery systems, and knows, how, archers of old, survived........and not by cutting the points, off their bows ! You need to read more !
you want a good budget katana that will perform amazingly, and i have tested it against anything from bottle of water to flesh and bone. no, there was no murder involved, but a opossum attacking my cat found out how formidable kenjutsu is. the hero sword katanas, any of your choice, one recommendation is the tachi, will perform with not only flying colors but no damage from what i have found
I found your comment most entertaining in a twisted way, yet informative. Thanks for the info.
@@matiasdelatorreoverton3612 anytime. will continue to give advice if need be. my katana, the recreation of jin sakai's from ghost of tsushima, has claimed 8 lives including the possum that killed one of my cats. my matching tanto has 1 under its belt being a racoon that hunted my cats for several months and one fatfeul night i caught it and half an hour later a possum which the blade of clan sakai made quick work of. i do not enjoy any of this but it is merely to protect animals i consider family and will continue. also, another suggestion for swords and these are a little more expensive, any murasame katana, gunto, tachi, wakizashi, and tanto. they are nice and some of the best balanced weapons i have ever touched. they are only as i can describe as "moving air"
Musashi make a $50 katana that cuts, Mathew Jensen reviewed it.
Musha, or Musashi?
@@g.r.bilyeu4226 I think it was Musashi, but don’t quote me👋🏻😃
Could you do a Murasame brand sword review in the future? Thanks!
If I ever get my hands on one of those, I will review it.
Great review! I appreciate the very thorough and detailed assessment on the various parts. Looking forward to your tameshigiri video.
Hello, I have seen a sword I would like to purchase it is T10 clay tempered sword. Does it need to be differentially hardened?
Differential hardening (or tempering like some call it) normally involves the use of clay. In other words, the two terms are the same thing.
That's part of the bow,you can us it to pertect your self like a nice when you run out of arrows ,and have to do hand to hand combat
Gru buys a bow
Thank you for sharing! I just got this bow, (I think it's the same one) from Toparchery. I'm so glad I chose to shoot it Asian style with a thumb ring. I don't need a hand guard like you. With a thumb ring it looks to be more comfortable to shoot. Take care
nope, modern steel are not even close to a true tamahagane folded steel from feudal era Japan craftsman , you are so off on that point, that i wont say anything else...
Science moves forward. Just stop.
lol noob
Tamahagane is inferior to a through hardened 1095 or even 1060 or 5160. The reason it is folded is to homoginize the steel and make it uniform. A modern crucible steel is cleaner with a much more uniform grain structure and carbon dispersion.
@@Watchinchemtrailz Yep, they folded the steel to spread out the impurities. So modern clean steel is always better.
Try Honshu swords there really good quality for kinda cheap for weapons
